Giancarlo Stanton is getting closer to a return from the tennis elbows he’s been dealing with since before spring training. Stanton said Tuesday he’s hitting off some high velocity, but is not “close” to a minor league rehab assignment, which he added he’ll need because of his extended absence. Giancarlo Stanton has missed the start of the Yankees season.
