The Southeast Asian country has committed to reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and the latest edition of its Power Development Plan 8 (PDP8), as it is known, maps out how it will reach those goals. The manufacturing powerhouse has been heavily reliant on coal to meet its rapidly expanding energy needs.
