The emotions were flowing on Wednesday night in Dallas, chiefly from Luka Dončić. The Lakers star returned to play at American Airlines Center for the first time since the shocking late-night blockbuster trade in February that sent him from the Mavericks to Los Angeles. Before the game even took place and he scored a game-high 45 points in a Lakers 112-97 win, the Mavericks honored him with a tribute video, which elicited tears from the five-time All-Star.
