A “hero” deacon was shot dead protecting members of his congregation from gunfire at an Easter egg hunt in Mississippi this weekend. Eddie Shed, with the Empowerment Ministries Christian Center in Gulfport, was killed when 24-year-old Tyran Deion Gable allegedly opened fire following a “child custody dispute” on Saturday afternoon, the Gulfport Police Department confirmed to People. 3 Eddie Shed, 39, was killed on Saturday afternoon, according to police.
