The head of a Manhattan council that partners with the NYPD resigned after being exposed by The Post for tearing down Israeli hostage posters Robert Josman, president and longtime member of the volunteer 24th Precinct Community Council on the Upper West Side, resigned last week amid demands for action over his repeated removal of hostage posters plastered near synagogues. 3 Robert Josman allegedly tore down fliers begging for the return of Israelis taken hostage by Hamas during the Oct. 7 massacre.
