Mangione’s first words after federal agents apprehended him for allegedly murdering United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was a sign of remorse for inconveniencing the public during his detainment, according to a letter sent by his legal team Wednesday. “I apologize for the inconvenience of the day,” Mangione reportedly uttered, according to his lawyers in court docs viewed by The Post.
