Shohei Ohtani put on show for Tom Hanks, Rob Lowe at Dodgers home opener

In a city filled with A-Listers, Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani was the main attraction on Thursday. In front of Hollywood’s biggest names and one of the city’s biggest sports icons, Ohtani sent a blast into the left field stands during the seventh inning for his second home run of the season in the Dodgers’ 5-4 win over the Tigers.   The slugger worked the count against Detroit right-hander Brenan Hanifee before taking advantage of a 95 mph sinker, sending it the other way for an opposite-field homer.
