Gigantic, hyper-realistic moon replica lands at Long Island cathedral for out-of-this-world exhibition

It’s a whole different type of moon landing. A Long Island Episcopal church will soon host a breathtaking, 20-foot artistic replica of Earth’s favorite space rock and weeks of fun events orbiting around it. The Cathedral of the Sacred Incarnation in Garden City will be home to United Kingdom artist Luke Jerram’s world-traveling Museum of the Moon, which is based on NASA imaging, from April 11 to May 4.
