Kris Bryant on IL with ‘degenerative disk disease’ as Rockies’ $182 million disaster gets worse

Kris Bryant is in a familiar place on the Colorado Rockies’ injured list. The $182 million DH has not been able to stay healthy since signing his seven-year deal with the Rockies ahead of the 2022 season.   Bryant’s placement on the 10-day IL, retroactive to April 13, is reportedly due to lumbar degenerative disc disease, which is a lower back issue that’s associated with wear and tear of the spine.
