Homeless man fatally struck by train in Manhattan subway station

A homeless man was fatally hit by a train inside a Manhattan subway station on Wednesday afternoon, police and witnesses said. The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was spotted on the tracks by a conductor moments before a rumbling northbound E train struck him in the Fifth Avenue-53rd Street E/M Station around 12:25 p. m.
