Shops shut in Nablus to observe a general strike in the West Bank city in solidarity with Gaza AFP Shuttered storefronts lined empty streets in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank on Monday during a general strike by Palestinians demanding an end to the Gaza war.
